Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy

Effective October 29, 2026 · Last updated October 29, 2026

Scope and contact

This notice covers consumer health data handled by EPETAH LLC through Balmve RX where applicable state law governs that information. Contact support@balmve.com. This supplements our Privacy Policy. Separately regulated clinical records remain subject to the responsible provider's notices and legal duties.

Categories and sources

Health-related information can include your treatment interests, weight, height, symptoms, medications, allergies, medical history, sex assigned at birth, pregnancy or breastfeeding information, photos, a photo of your ID, a short video, and identity or contact details linked to that information. Sources are answers you enter in an assessment, files you upload and information you choose to include in a support message. A visit to a weight-loss or hair-loss page may also reveal a health interest through the requested URL and connection records.

Purposes and storage

Assessment answers and uploads are saved to your Balmve RX account so you can finish your assessment. When you send them and pay, they go to MD Integrations so a licensed clinician can review your case. Support information is used to answer your request. Technical information supports delivery and security of the website. See the Privacy Policy for storage and retention.

Sharing

MD Integrations and its licensed clinicians receive your assessment and uploads for clinical review. Our partner pharmacies receive what they need to fill a prescription. Hosting, email and text message providers process information to operate the service on our behalf. We do not send assessment answers to advertising platforms, sell consumer health data or share it for targeted advertising.

We ask you to agree to our Terms, Telehealth Consent and Privacy Policy before your answers are sent for care. Before adding another source or recipient of health data, we update this notice and obtain consent where required. We may disclose information when legally required.

Your rights

Where applicable, you can ask whether we collect or share your health data, request access and recipient details, withdraw consent, or request deletion. Email support@balmve.com with the subject “Health data request”. We verify identity without requiring a new account.

For requests governed by Washington's My Health My Data Act, we respond within 45 days. If reasonably needed, we explain an extension of up to 45 additional days within the first response period. Other applicable deadlines are followed where required.

If we deny your request, reply with the subject “Health data appeal”. For Washington appeals, we respond within 45 days and explain our decision. If the appeal is denied, we provide a route to complain to the Washington Attorney General. These procedures do not limit other legal rights. Withdrawal of consent may prevent a service that needs the information.
